Holly, where did your wedding take place?
We had two ceremonies, we were in Las Vegas so why not?! One with 40 guests at The Flamingo Hotel and Casino and the second just the two of us at The Little White Wedding Chapel. Our reception was a rooftop patio at Virgil’s BBQ followed by an after party on a party bus down the Vegas strip.
What inspired your wedding style or theme?
We love Vegas and we wanted our wedding to be fun and memorable with our closest friends and family. We did not want a conventional ‘traditional’ wedding and everything about our day fitted us perfectly.
How did you feel in your dress on the big day?
I loved every part of my dress! It was everything I could have wanted and I’m SO glad I took the plunge and ordered online through HaveDress. I had two skirts, corset, detachable straps and a veil. I was able to mix up my looks throughout the day, which made for some fun on the day surprises. I’m eternally grateful 🫶
What was your favorite wedding moment?
Being sung down the aisle by Elvis and facing each other to get married! Such an emotional and exciting moment made even more memorable by Elvis marrying us.
Do you have any sweet advice for future brides?
Do exactly what makes you both happy on your wedding day and don’t worry about what you think your guests want on YOUR wedding. Your family and friends are just excited to see you get married and share the moment with you. So try not to stress, take it as it comes and soak up every minute, it really does go too fast!
